The stop position sensor is what tells the machine when to stop at 100 100-degree dial. If this sensor is not properly aligned or your machine has a faulty sensor, the machine can give you Ec20 or Ec12 error codes.

It is essential to maintain this sensor and the metal disk aligned adequately so the machine won't give you any of these errors.
